In what has become an exodus from West Virginia, junior runningback Steve Slaton is the latest Mountaineer to announce he'll be leaving Morgantown in search of much greener pastures elsewhere.

Slaton, who had 17 touchdowns and 1,051 rushing yards in 2007, said Sunday he'll enter the NFL Draft.

Todd McShay, ESPN's future Mel Kiper, projects the runningback as a 2nd or 3rd round pick.
